Description
The Salesforce Administrator manages and develops our salesforce instance, and collaborates with teams to improve information capture, data analysis, reporting and automated workflows.
Essential Functions / Tasks / Duties / Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve problems reported by users and provide documentation of issues/root cause/solution on all tickets.
Provide training, assistance, and solutions for end users
Manage/enhance the company instance of salesforce
Collaborate with teams to design workflows to help automate manual processes. Build, test, & maintain complex workflows, automations, & processes
Maintain integrations with salesforce plugins like CPQ, FinancialForce, SaaSOptics, Marketo, AWS Connect
Document, prioritize, and complete ad hoc requests submitted by salesforce users
Maintain processes to support administrative, development, & change management activities
Coordinate the evaluation, scope & completion of new development requests
Complete regular internal system audits & prepare for upgrades
Stay current with Salesforce releases and continue education within the Salesforce platform, CPQ, FinancialForce, SaaSOptics and managed packages and apps used within the Office Practicum organization.
Manage data feeds & all platform integrations. Integrate salesforce with other tools (like jira, and GSuite) to streamline data flows
CPQ design, development, testing & deployment of Price Books, Price Rules, Product Rules, Summary Variables, etc.

Competencies
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
Aptitude and patience for training and assisting users who may not have a deep understanding of Salesforce
Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Requires both user and administrative Salesforce expertise
Written communication is critical for describing solutions to user requests. Oral communication is critical when collaborating with teams to understand needs and devise solutions to those needs.
Basic project management skills are required when working on larger requests.
Education / Professional Certifications or Licenses Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related field
Salesforce Certified Administrator required
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator preferred
Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist preferred
Experience Requirements:
3+ years in IT as a developer, consultant, business analyst or systems administrator
3+ years as a Certified Salesforce Administrator or Developer
Must have experience managing third party integrations
Experience working with the Service Cloud required
Experience with CPQ integration and Experience Cloud strongly preferred
Supervisory responsibilities:
The SFA will provide oversight for Salesforce contractor team.
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 per year. This may be negotiable depending on a candidate’s background and experience.
