JOB DESCRIPTION
Nurses provide care for patients with disorders of the musculoskeletal system. This may include care for patients suffering from minor fractures, multiple fractures received from a vehicle accident, or chronic bone and joint diseases. These nurses have the opportunity to gain expertise in fracture management, wound care, management of acute and chronic pain, complex infusions, medical and surgical emergencies, and counseling.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of current orthopedics/med-surg experience and uphold the mandatory BCLS certification. Preferred certification consists of an ortho certification.
