Project Manager, Clean Transportation

Albany, New York City

 

Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Project Manager, Clean Transportation, to join our client in leading the nation in the fight on global climate change and the transition to a clean-energy powered economy. 

This is a FT Direct Hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support NYSERDA's EV charging programs throughout the program development and execution process and collaborate with other agencies (NYSDOT, NYSDEC, DPS, NYPA) on EV charging program development and execution
  • Manage a wide range of complex clean transportation projects throughout the project lifecycle:
    1. Oversee program implementation contractor workstreams
    2. Provide project management and contracting support
    3. Maintain key program documents, agreements, applications and other documentation
    4. Respond to external inquiries about program status and funding
    5. Coordination with internal administrative teams, IT systems, Legal, Data Governance, etc.
    6. Manage program databases (internal and external)
    7. Identify and pursue opportunities for program improvement including ways NYSERDA can better address equity in transportation
    8. Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant experience managing complex projects in the clean transportation space and a bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a wide range of innovative and complex projects independently and simultaneously under deadline, including developing and managing workplans and budgets and overseeing consultant work products
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and manage both contractors and coordinate with internal teams
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills along with proficiency in MS Office Suite 
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment
  • Technical knowledge of electric vehicle charging systems and technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing scopes of work and managing contracts with third party partners and/or consultants

Salary

  • $73- $123k
