You Have:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting, preferably with heavy machinery.
  • Experience with repairing and fabricating spare parts for gearbox, components, pumps, as well as welding. Previous experience on over-head cranes and or electrical preferred.
  • Ability to work a rotating 8, 10 hr day shift and every other weekend. Day shift position that works 8 days on then 6 days off (rotating).
  • Team-oriented with communication skills required to work with supervisors, engineers, maintenance, and production operators.

Your Purpose:

You will primarily perform maintenance and repair on overhead cranes. A majority of the work will be done at a height of 40 feet or more, so frequent climbing and use of stairs is required.

Your Work:
  • You will have a variety of occasionally complex duties requiring considerable care to effectively and efficiently dismantle, repair, lubricate, reassemble, as wells as general maintenance in varied capacities such as an electrician, pipefitter, machine repair, plumber, millwright, welder, and burner.
  • You will start, observe, and operate equipment to detect or verify the malfunction.
  • You will conduct preventive maintenance through inspecting, adjusting feed, speed power input and output, cleaning, and lubricating equipment.
  • You will tear down, replace, repair, install, and assemble equipment, parts, components, and accessories.
  • You will detect and report faulty material, environmental hazards, and/ or improper operation of mill equipment or machinery.
