JOB DESCRIPTION
Nurses provide care to patients with gastrointestinal problems during investigative or therapeutic procedures. They assist physicians performing the procedures and help to maintain specialized equipment. They also monitor the patient's status to ensure safety and address discomfort.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of current critical care experience and uphold the mandatory BCLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certification consists of a conscious sedation course.
