Executive Assistant
Albany, NY
Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for an Executive Assistant, to join our client in the downtown Albany, NY area. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with employee parking provided and an amazing facility with many amenities for employee use.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs all executive secretarial tasks for the Executive Director, including transcribing and proofreading confidential correspondence, preparing reports, scheduling appointments and maintaining confidential files
- Maintains calendar of appointments for the Executive Director
- Receives and responds to complaints and inquires addressed to the Executive Director
- Coordinates the work of administrative support staff
- Receives and responds to mail received for the Executive Director, routing any necessary mail for immediate attention
- Performs related work as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of secretarial practices including typing and general office procedures
- Thorough knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other software as required
- Working knowledge of the organization, functions, and activities of local government.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with 7 years’ experience preferred
- High school diploma or associate’s degree with 9 years’ experience accepted
- 2 plus years’ experience supervising others
Salary
- $60-80k
