- Hourly Rate Range: $33.00/hr - $43.02/hr (actual rate is dependent on applicant training period hours completed)

- Must be registered in an approved Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) - 433A apprenticeship program with Skilled Trades Ontario AND have passed both Level 1 and Level 2 of in-school training OR have a minimum of 4000 hours of documented apprenticeship employment experience.
- Be able to work in all areas in the plant and complete the Apprentice Rotation.
- Be able to work shift rotation (days/nights) as outlined in the Apprentice Training Schedule.
- Have experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, with exposure to Bearings, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Lubrication, Rotating Equipment.
- Strong communication and work ethic, ability to work in a team and with other trades
- Background, education, and criminal record checks will be performed.
- All successful candidates must pass a post-offer medical and ergonomic assessment.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts.
- Responsible for working safely in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures.
- Work under the guidance of plant Supervisors and Journeyman skilled trades.
- Work toward completing hours for all competency skill sets as defined by Skilled Trades Ontario.
- Inspect, install, repair, replace, adjust mechanical equipment in the plant.
- Service the mechanical aspects of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance of production machinery to optimize machine efficiencies and equipment reliability.
- Apply lubricants used in the preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Receive instructions, prints, and work orders, covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, and inspection work.
- Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage on computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), work orders, logbooks, and checklists.
- Perform rounds and checks machinery condition using checklists or digital tools to identify abnormalities and ensure that machine functions are operating within the normal specifications.
- Operate power driven mobile equipment and ordinary crane hooking.
