Real Estate Paralegal/Closing Coordinator

Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Real Estate Closing Coordinator/Paralegal for our client located in the Albany, NY area. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experience with local real estate closing procedures, including overseeing relevant contingency dates, preparing closing disclosures, bank loan and title documents.
• Responsibilities will all components of a residential loan closing from commitment to post-closing
• Scheduling with all parties, confirming escrow and loan details, title review, reviewing legal due diligence, preparing loan documentation and clearing loan exceptions.
• Successful candidates will be self-motivated, a creative thinker, possess strong customer service skills, have the ability to think for themselves independently, and enjoy working as part of a team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in residential real estate and mortgage lending transactions
• Law firm environment experience required.
• A significant background with SoftPro Select is essential. High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• General office and computer experience required.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Reliable attendance a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly an apply acquired skills to complete projects independently.
• Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information.
• Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work products.

Salary

• $60,000-$80,000+, range based on candidates’ qualifications and skillset
