Description
The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes. This role ensures efficient workflow, adherence to safety standards, and timely delivery of goods. The manager will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize logistics and supply chain efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Related experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain
- management preferred; degree or certification in a related field is a plus
- Strong leadership, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass a background check as required by the agency
- Must meet all employment eligibility requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Good verbal and hearing skills, good dexterity for manual handling and computer
- operation
- Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for extended periods
- May be exposed to warehouse environments, including varying temperatures
- and moderate noise levels
JOB CONDITIONS
- Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a one
- (1) hour lunch break
- Primary work environment is warehouse-based, with varying climate conditions
- and moderate to high noise levels
- This is a nonexempt position eligible for overtime pay
- REPORTS TO: Chief Administrative Officer
CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING REQUIRED
- Ongoing training in warehouse operations, safety, and logistics management
- May require additional certifications based on regulatory and operational needs
AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must understand and support the mission and philosophy of DRTC
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry
- standards
- Maintain accurate records and reporting systems for inventory and shipments
- Represent the agency professionally in all interactions
- Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance skills and
- knowledge
- Contribute knowledge to all related functions of the agency including inventory
- management, storage, distribution, shipping, fleet management, facilities, and
- general operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and
- distribution of goods
- Supervise assigned assembly and other product enhancement projects as
- assigned
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy
- Manage shipping, receiving, and internal logistics to optimize efficiency and cost-
- effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce proper
- procedures
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to improve supply chain efficiency
- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement process
- improvements
- Coordinate and facilitate proposal pricing and associated invoicing
- Support budget and expense tracking for warehouse operations
- Maintain an organized system for inventory and logistics documentation
- Monitor performance, maintenance, and repairs for agency vehicles to ensure
- safety and efficiency
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
RESPONSIBILITIES – ANCILLARY FUNCTIONS
- Assist with business development, procurement and vendor negotiations as
- needed
- Provide administrative support for warehouse-related projects
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Assist with ongoing development of the safety program including workers
- compensation program
