Paralegal/Legal Assistant – Business Division
Albany, NY
Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for an experienced Paralegal for our client located in the Albany, NY area. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity with a well-regarded legal team, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment with competitive compensation and benefits.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Paralegal with experience in commercial and real estate litigation. The ideal candidate will be adept at drafting legal documents, supporting trial preparation, managing case files, and handling a variety of administrative and legal tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage attorneys’ schedules
- Handle case management and file review
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery demands, and correspondence
- Assist with trial preparation, including subpoenas and creation of trial notebooks
- Manage discovery timelines and trial schedules
- Support commercial real estate transactions
- Perform legal research and e-filing with local and Federal courts
- Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial and real estate litigation
- Strong drafting and document preparation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Worldox is a plus
- Experience with E-filing systems in local and Federal courts
- Excellent written, verbal, and typing skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Capable of working independently while also taking direction
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred but not required
Salary Range:
$50,000-$65,000 – based on candidate skillset and prior experience
