Community Outreach Manager

Latham, NY

 

Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a skilled professional to develop and maintain connections within the senior care community in the Capital Region area. In this role, you'll work to customize support systems that allow older adults to thrive within their communities.

 

The ideal candidate will work in the community and play a key role in the business development of the company. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a well-established organization offering a competitive benefits package.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, senior centers, and community organizations to enhance access to high-quality in-home care.
  • Advocate for seniors' well-being and independence by promoting person-centered companion services.
  • Work alongside a dedicated team to strengthen support systems that help older adults age in place.
  • Inspire positive change in the way seniors receive care and support within the comfort of their own homes.
  • Generate referrals for in-home senior companion care services by cultivating relationships with physicians, long-term care facilities, independent and assisted living communities, and other key members of the senior care network.
  • Conduct market analysis and develop sales strategy, goals, and plans.
  • Support business development activities and help to establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.
  • Answer prospective client inquiries and phone calls to provide accurate and helpful answers to those seeking services and information, as well as conduct new client consultations
  • Oversee email communication both internally, with care companions and clients, as well as with external business partners.

 

Qualifications

  • At least two years of recent sales experience in the senior or healthcare related industry, preferably in home care services
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Excellent planning, organization, and presentation skills are critical
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; and the ability to learn various software programs necessary for this role
  • Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle to commute to work
  • Compassionate attitude, excellent time management skills, and the ability to multitask

 

Salary

  • $75,000 (based on experience)
