PAYROLL MANAGER

Findlay, Ohio

Fusco Personnel is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations within a complex, multi-state environment. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to senior HR leadership, with future people-management responsibility as the function continues to scale.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical payroll expertise, a compliance-focused mindset, and experience supporting hourly and salaried populations in a fast-paced, multi-shift setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end, multi-state payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure compliance with wage, hour, and payroll tax regulations
• Prepare payroll reports and support audits
• Oversee payroll-related retirement plan contributions
• Maintain payroll and timekeeping systems; support HRIS implementation
• Develop standardized payroll procedures and train stakeholders
• Partner with HR and Finance on compensation and planning initiatives

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-site payroll experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and timekeeping platforms (Paycor or similar preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and discretion
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; payroll certification a plus

Salary: 

• $100-115k
