Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components across various projects. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, system design, and advanced skills in FPGA, PCB design, and system integration. The engineer will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project specifications and industry standards. Experience with CAD tools, signal processing, firmware development, and manufacturing processes is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, PCB layouts, and system architecture using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and Revit.
- Develop FPGA and SoC-based solutions utilizing SystemVerilog, MATLAB, Simulink, ARM architecture, and programmable logic controllers.
- Conduct root cause analysis on electrical failures and troubleshoot complex issues related to system design or manufacturing defects.
- Perform signal processing tasks and develop firmware using C++, Python, Perl, and scripting languages to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on integrating electrical systems with mechanical components utilizing mechanical knowledge and surface mount technology (SMT).
- Support manufacturing processes by ensuring compliance with NEC standards and overseeing surface mount technology assembly.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and vision inspection systems for quality assurance.
- Create detailed schematics and technical documentation for projects using CAD software like AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit.
- Assist in project scheduling, system design reviews, and technical presentations to stakeholders.
- Engage in continuous learning of emerging technologies such as quantum engineering to enhance product innovation.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical systems design, PCB layout, FPGA development, firmware programming, and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with signal processing techniques, debugging electronic circuits, soldering (including surface mount technology), and working with microcontrollers such as Arduino or ARM-based platforms.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit), simulation software (Simulink), hardware description languages (SystemVerilog), and scripting languages (Python, Perl).
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards including NEC regulations and experience working within production environments is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to system design integration is a plus. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Electrical Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge projects while advancing their technical expertise within a collaborative environment focused on innovation and excellence.
