Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Motor Vehicle Production Team Leader to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our automotive assembly facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of production workers, ensure safety and quality standards are maintained, and facilitate efficient assembly line processes. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and familiarity with manufacturing environments to drive productivity and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of assembly line workers in motor vehicle production, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate daily production schedules to meet quality and output targets.
  • Monitor workflow on the assembly line, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize productivity.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
  • Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on proper use of tools, machinery, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report on team performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold manufacturing standards and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements and implementing best practices.

Skills

  • Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments, preferably within automotive or vehicle assembly.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle assembly processes and factory equipment operation.
  • Hands-on experience with assembly lines, hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols within manufacturing settings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics flow within the facility.
