Description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance, and expertise in managing complex systems including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical components. This role is vital for ensuring optimal facility operations, safety compliance, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, manage maintenance schedules using CMMS tools, and ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the maintenance team to perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies utilizing CMMS software to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history.
  • Oversee electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and industrial machinery using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Coordinate projects related to facilities management, upgrades, or repairs with internal teams or external contractors.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to electrical work (including high voltage and low voltage), mechanical systems, and general facility operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance metrics; analyze failure modes; implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff on technical procedures, safety standards, and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with management to plan budgets, schedule downtime for repairs or upgrades, and optimize maintenance workflows.

Requirements

  • Proven supervisory experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster a safety-conscious culture.
  • Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems (including high voltage), HVAC systems, and mechanical components.
  • Experience working with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking.
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with Ohmmeters and diagnostic tools essential.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics and troubleshoot complex machinery issues using diagnostic instruments like ohmmeters.
  • Project management skills to oversee upgrades or repair projects from planning through execution.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for effective team leadership and documentation purposes.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards related to electrical work (high voltage/low voltage) is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
