Job Type: Locum
Disciplines: CNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists)
is collaborating with a hospital in southern Georgia that has an opportunity for an Anesthesiologist Assistant to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Overview:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-3p
• Patient Volume: 8-10 per day
• Case Types: Hearts (no CABG), neuro, electrophysiology, DDC, healthy pediatrics, and vascular
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, visit a riverside aquarium, browse a small but charming downtown, and enjoy classic Southern barbecue and comfort food at long-standing local spots.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Anesthesiologist Assistant Georgia state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program
• One year of work experience as Anesthesiologist Assistant
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
