Disciplines: RAD (Radiology)
is partnering with a medical center in eastern South Carolina that has an opportunity for a Neurointerventional Radiologist to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Overview:
• Schedule: Monday 7a-Monday 7a, every other week
• Monthly Volumes: 100-125 stroke alerts, 25 angiograms, 8-15 interventions, and 5-10 embolizations
• Duties: Perform cases as needed, respond to urgent/emergent callback cases, answer consults, round on patients, clinic coverage, etc.
• Support Staff: APP working a 7 on/7 off schedule, navigator, and stroke coordinator
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, explore a regional art museum, visit a botanical garden showcasing native plants, and browse antiques and vintage finds in small local shops.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physicians/Surgeon South Carolina state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physicians/Surgeon program
• One year of work experience as Physicians/Surgeon
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
