Description
This is a 8-hour shift 5 days each week, with the shift schedule being 09:00-17:30 shift total of 40 hours per week. Pathology Assistant with ASCP certification, Need 2 Professional references. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $78.62/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $63.79/hr, along with a per diem of $14.83/hr.*Work Location - 1230 Baxter St., Athens, GA, 30606.
Summary:
Department: Lap
Shift timings: 09:00-17:30 Hours Monday to friday
Per Week: 40 Hours
No holidays or weekends ASCP- PA certification is required
Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Medical Technologists/Technician Georgia state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Medical Technologists/Technician program
• One year of work experience as Medical Technologists/Technician
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
