Optimum is proud to partner with a reputable facility in western New York that has an open Hematology Oncology position.
Cover a hematology and medical oncology caseload with strong clinical support, plus earn a competitive salary.
About the Opening:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
• 1:5 call rotation
• Daily Volume: 15-18 patients
• Support Staff: Additional MDs, APPs, RNs, and MAs
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive base salary + RVUs

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physicians/Surgeon New York state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physicians/Surgeon program
• One year of work experience as Physicians/Surgeon
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
