Description
This is a 12-hour shift 3 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 19:00-07:30, total of 36 hours per week. RN Medical / Surgical with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Need 2 Professional References. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $55.69/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $38.94/hr, along with a per diem of $16.75/hr. Work Location: 1111 6th Avenue, Des Moines, IA, 50314. Only Travelers are considered who are staying above 60 Miles from the facility.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Registered Nurse Iowa state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
• One year of work experience as Registered Nurse
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
