Work Schedule: 32 clinical, 8 admin, 1 Sat per month
Optimum has an opening for a skilled Pediatrician to provide locum coverage at a clinic in Boston, Massachusetts.

Opening Details:
• Schedule: 40 hours per week + Saturday per month (8a-5p)
• Setting: 100% outpatient
• Daily Volume: 15-20 patients
• Patient Population: Ages 0-18
• Team Structure: 15+ physicians
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physicians/Surgeon Massachusetts state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physicians/Surgeon program
• One year of work experience as Physicians/Surgeon
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
