Work Schedule: Monday-Sunday
is collaborating with a hospital in northern West Virginia that has an opening for a Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.
Opening Highlights:
• Flexible Schedule: Monday-Friday, or 7 on/7 off
• Shifts: Overnight or 24-hour call
• Experience Required: Cardiac critical care experience in post-cardiac surgery, ECMO, LVAD, transplant management, or post-cardiac surgery step-down care
• EMR: Epic
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, explore an 85-acre botanical garden, visit a state forest nearby, and dine at family-owned eateries.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner West Virginia state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of work experience as Nurse Practitioner
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
