Nurse Practitioner - Nephrology | Southern California | $165K+ Compensation | No Nights or Weekends
We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a background or strong interest in Nephrology to join a highly regarded, value-based care organization serving patients across Southern California. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, professional growth within a collaborative care model, and the satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease and related conditions.

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of NP experience, ideally with exposure to nephrology or internal medicine
• Current, unrestricted RN and NP licenses in California
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Experience managing patients with chronic conditions strongly preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner California state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of EMR experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
