Candidate Type: CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist)
Job Type: Locum
Disciplines: CNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday & weekday & weekend call
Partnered with a medical center in southwestern New Mexico that has an opportunity for a CRNA to provide ongoing locum coverage.
Opportunity Details:
• Schedule: 7a-3p
• Beeper Call Shifts: 3p-7a, every 4th night and 4th weekend
• Case Types: General, endo, OB, GYN, orthopedics, and limited acute pain management
• Spinals and epidurals required
• Team Structure: 4 CRNAs per day
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, stroll through a historic downtown, visit natural hot springs surrounded by forested canyons and desert landscapes, and hike through a designated wilderness area.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered CRNA New Mexico state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program
• One year of work experience as CRNA
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
