Candidate Type: CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist)
Job Type: Locum
Disciplines: CNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists)
Partnered with a leading hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, that has an opportunity for a Pediatric Cardiac CRNA to provide locum tenens coverage.
Opportunity Details:
• Schedule: 7a-5p
• Call shifts available
• Daily Volume: 5 patients
• Will cover neonatal patients (0-6 months)
• Must be comfortable handling high acuity/sick pediatrics
• 20 ORs
• 1:2 medical direction
• Teaching environment
• EMR: Epic
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, stroll through a riverfront park, catch live performances from blues, soul, and rock artists in historic venues, and attend food and music festivals.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered CRNA Tennessee state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program
• One year of work experience as CRNA
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
