is partnering with a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, with an opening for an Advanced Gastroenterologist to assist their team.
About the Opportunity:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p
• Weekend Call Requirement: 7a-7a
• Weekly Volumes: 35-40 consults, 25-30 procedures
• Duties: Advanced ED and hospitalist coverage
• Cases: EGD, colonoscopy, PEG placement, and occasional ERCP
• Support Staff: APPs
• EMR: Cerner
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, tour a legendary recording studio, catch a professional basketball game or concert in a state-of-the-art arena, and sample world-famous barbecue at historic eateries.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Gastroenterologist Tennessee state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Gastroenterologist program
• One year of work experience as Gastroenterologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
