Description
Collaborating with a reputable medical center 20 minutes outside of Sacramento, California, with an opening for a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide overnight locum coverage.
Opening Overview:
• Flexible Schedule: 12a-8a
• No call or weekends
• Setting: Remote or onsite
• Case Volume: 150-200 x-rays, or 20-25 US and 25-30 CT/MRs
• Case Types: MR, CT, US, and x-ray; ED and inpatient cases
• EMR: Cerner
• Dictation: Nuance PowerScribe 360
• PACS: Merge PACS
• Workstation provided if remote
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered RAD (Radiology) California state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as a Radiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
