Disciplines: RAD (Radiology)
is collaborating with a hospital in western New York that has an opportunity for a Radiologist to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Details:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Setting: Onsite
• Average Daily Volume: 60 x-ray, 20 CT, 20 US, 8 MRI
• Required Procedures: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, etc. (no mammo or IR)
• EMR: Epic
• PACS: Sectra
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, hike nearby state park trails, drive scenic byways through rolling hills, and stroll a revitalized downtown with boutique shops, cafés, and antique stores.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Radiologist New York state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Radiologist program
• One year of work experience as Radiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
