Optimum has an open position for a Body Imager at a medical center in Miami, Florida.
Reside in a vibrant community with plenty of dining options, outdoor activities, and beautiful beaches to enjoy.
About the Position:
• Schedule: 7:30a-4:30p, Monday-Friday
• Backup call
• 30 studies a day (heavy cancer focus)
• Cross-sectional, body, and abdominal
• 80-90% clinical for staff | 40% clinical and 60% teaching, research, and academics for faculty
• Academic experience not required
• Must be board-certified
• Will consider new grads
• Comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Radiologist Florida state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as a Radiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
