Work Schedule: Monday-Sunday
Partnered with a medical center in southwestern Oregon with an exclusive opportunity for a skilled Gastroenterologist to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Highlights:
• Schedule: 1 week per month + every weekend
• Shift Times: 7a-7p
• Call: 7p-7a, as needed
• Daily Volume: 10-12 consults, 5-6 scopes
• 3-4 ERCP consults per week
• Advanced procedures required
• Support Staff: Endo nursing manager, endo techs, anesthesia
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, stroll through a revitalized downtown district, catch a play or concert at a regional theater, and kayak or raft on a nearby river.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Gastroenterologist Oregon state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Gastroenterologist program
• One year of work experience as Gastroenterologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
