Position Overview:
S eeking Emergency Medicine physicians to join a well-supported, low-volume emergency department in a critical access hospital in Central Texas. With a welcoming team, streamlined transfer options, and the flexibility of 12- or 24-hour shifts, this opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking a balanced lifestyle and meaningful community-based practice just outside of Austin and San Antonio.

Qualifications:
• ABEM or board certification in Family or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in: FM, IM
• Open to Residents and Fellows
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered physician Texas state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Family Practice/Internal Medicine Physician with Emergency Medicine
• One year of EMR experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
