• Salary: $220/hr (W2), $260/hr (1099)
Position Overview:
• Recruiting Emergency Medicine physicians to join a nationally ranked facility in Albany, NY.
• This 46,000-volume ED is part of a hospital system repeatedly recognized as one of the best in New York State.
• The site provides advanced trauma and specialty services and features a robust team-based environment supported by Epic EMR and leadership opportunities.
• This hospital is a designated STEMI and Primary Stroke Center and provides a wide breadth of surgical specialties including Cardiothoracic, Hepatobiliary, Orthopedic, Vascular, and OB/GYN.
• With continued accolades from U.S. News & World Report for both general and maternity care, it represents the gold standard for clinical excellence in the region.

Qualifications:
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Emergency Medicine
• Open to Residents and Fellows
• Open to Visa Candidates
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered physician New York state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Emergency Medicine Physician
• One year of EMR experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
