Primary Care Physician - South Central Vermont

COMPENSATION: $250,000 Base + RVU

Potential up to $400,000 + Outstanding benefits
• This southern Vermont practice uniquely provides the community with access to Primary Care, Behavioral Health and Care Management services for the whole family.
• Primary Care services include on-site Behavioral Health providers, Social Workers, and Care Management, along with preventive programs like diabetes management and education.
• We are a multi-site FQHC serving 80% of the primary care needs in our community (central Vermont).The Green Mountain National Forest, Killington, and Pico ski resorts are a short drive from the picturesque historic downtown area.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered MD or DO Vermont state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as a Primary Care Physician
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
