Work Schedule: 4 10's
Optimum Partnered with clinics in western Washington that have openings for a Pediatrician to join their team.
Enjoy a 4-day workweek with rotating call shifts, plus the opportunity to practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Opening Overview:
• Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts per week
• Call Requirement: 1:4 rotation, covering 7-8 inpatient days per month
• Shifts available at multiple outpatient clinics
• Patient Volume: 15-20 per day, ~200 deliveries per year
• Patient Population: Newborns through 18 years old
• Must be available for the main hospital for emergencies and to attend some deliveries
• Will attend scheduled births for high-risk pregnancies
• EMR: AthenaHealth
• Must be board-certified

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physicians/Surgeon Washington state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physicians/Surgeon program
• One year of work experience as Physicians/Surgeon
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
