Work Schedule: 9hrs for swing - 2 weeks on per month, 8hrs for ov
Optimum is partnering with a group based in southern Texas that has an opening for a skilled Teleradiologist to join their team.
Enjoy a flexible schedule and no call requirement while covering cases from the comfort of your own home.
Opening Details:
• Schedule: 10a-7p or 5p-1a CST, 7 on/7 off
• No call requirement
• Setting: 100% remote
• Will read for two locations
• Daily Census: 100-150 cases
• Case Mix: 50% x-ray, 35% CT, 15% US, and some MR
• EMR: Cerner
• PACS: Synapse Fuji
• Dictation: Powerscribe 360
• Workstation provided
• BE/BC

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Teleradiologist Texas state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Teleradiologist program
• One year of work experience as Teleradiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
