A leading facility in southeastern Florida has a full-time opportunity for a skilled Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist to join their team.

About the Position:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4p
• Beeper call 1 day per week, 1 weekend per month
• Case Volume: Over 1,000 total cardiac surgical cases per year
• Cases: 100% cardiothoracic anesthesia for minimally invasive valve repair/ replacement, CABG, adult congenital procedures, aortic reconstruction, and other major vascular cases
• Academic position; will work with residents, fellows, and SRNAs/CRNAs
• Supervision model
• Full subspecialty support
• EMR: Cerner & Epic
• Must be board-certified

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Anesthesiologist Florida state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Anesthesiologist program
• One year of work experience as Anesthesiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
