Candidate Type: CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist)
Job Type: Perm
Disciplines: ANX (Anesthesia)
Optimum Partnered with a medical center in southern Ohio that has an opening for a skilled CRNA to join their team.
This position allows you to make a lasting impact while enjoying a diverse caseload and a competitive salary.
About the Position:
• Schedule: 7a-3:30p, 4 weekdays per week
• Rotating Call: Weekdays (7a-7a, every other week) and weekends (Friday 7a-Monday 7a, 1:10)
• CRNAs take first call
• Cases: General surgery, thoracic, vascular, OB/maternity, gynecology, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, urology, pediatrics, and some cardiac
• Team Structure: 8 anesthesiologists, 20 CRNAs
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Competitive salary based on experience

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered CRNA Ohio state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program
• One year of work experience as CRNA
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
