Work Schedule: M-F schedule 8-5 with call every 3rd or 4th week
Optimum is partnering with a facility in southern South Carolina that has an opening for a skilled OB/GYN to become part of their team.
You can provide high-quality care to patients in this dynamic setting, plus earn great benefits.
About the Opening:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Call Requirement: 1 week every 3-4 weeks, midwife takes first call
• Volume: 18 patients per day, 60 deliveries per month
• Robotics are a plus, but not required
• Team Structure: 4 OB/GYNs, 2 midwives, 1 WHNP, nurse, MA
• EMR: eClinicalWorks
• Must be board-certified
Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered OB/GYN South Carolina state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited OB/GYN program
• One year of work experience as OB/GYN
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
