Work Schedule: Split time between inpatient consults and clinic.
A leading hospital in Miami, Florida, has an opening for an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join their team.

Opening Overview:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday day shifts
• 1:5 call rotation
• Setting: Equal split between outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
• Duties: Evaluation and management of patients referred for transplant evaluation, post-transplant care, VAD management, and long-term follow-up of non-transplant patients with advanced heart failure
• Procedures: Endomyocardial biopsy, cardiac catheterization, etc.
• Support Staff: 9 total AHF cardiologists, full surgical staff
• EMR: Cerner, Epic
• Must be board-certified
Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Cardiologist Florida state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Cardiologist program
• One year of work experience as Cardiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
