Optimum Partnered with a reputable clinic in central Georgia that has an opening for a Pulmonologist to become part of their team.

Provide high-quality patient care at an established facility while earning great benefits, including a competitive salary, full health benefits, and paid CMEs.

About the Opening:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5p
• Call shifts required
• Setting: 100% outpatient
• Patient Census: 20-30 per day
• Cases: Sick visits, chronic lung disease management, pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, smoking cessation, bronchoscopies, pulmonary rehabilitation, valley fever, and non-tuberculosis mycobacterium
• Support Staff: 3 MDs, 2 NPs, Rts, LCSWs, LPNs, MAs
• EMR: AthenaHealth
• Must be board-certified

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Pulmonologist Georgia state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Pulmonologist program
• One year of work experience as Pulmonologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
