Optimum is proud to partner with a reputable group in central Maine with an opening for a skilled General Radiologist to join their team.
Work alongside a dedicated team at a state-of-the-art facility and enjoy full benefits, a competitive salary, and up to 20 weeks of PTO.
About the Position:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5p
• 1:10 weekend call rotation, occasional 5p-8p call
• Setting: Hybrid; 50% onsite, 50% remote
• Average Daily Volume: 80-90 RVUs
• Cases: Diagnostic, light IR, neuro, and mammo; some body or MSK
• Team: 9 other radiologists
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive base salary
• 1-year partnership track, no buy-in

• PTO: 15 weeks, 21 weeks once partner

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Radiologist Maine state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Radiologist program
• One year of work experience as Radiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
