Description
This is a 12-hour shift three days each week, with the shift schedule being from 19:00-07:30, total of 36 hours per week. Respiratory Therapist with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification along with 2 professional references. Only Travelers are considered who are staying above 60 Miles from the facility. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $57/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $32.50/hr, along with a per diem of $24.50/hr,
Summary:
Department: Respiratory Care
Shift Timings: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours Monday to Friday (3 Days/12 Hours)
Per Week: 36 Hours
7p-7a; 36 hours/week, every other weekend. BLS, ACLS, NRP. NICU/PICU experience
Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Respiratory Therapist Illinois state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Respiratory Therapist program
• Two years of work experience as a Respiratory Therapist in NICU/PICU
• One year of EMR experience
• NRP and PALS Certification
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
