Optimum is proud to partner with a hospital in Miami, Florida, that has an opening for a skilled OB/GYN to join its team.

Opening Details:
• Shift: 8a-5p
• Schedule: 2 days per week in clinic, 3 days per week in OR/L&D
• Call Requirement: 4 days of L&D call and 2 days of GYN call per month
• Annual Volume: 4,000 deliveries
• Full spectrum OB/GYN coverage
• Comprehensive support staff, including MFM, midwives, residents, and fellows
• Must be board-certified

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physicians/Surgeon Florida state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physicians/Surgeon program
• One year of work experience as Physicians/Surgeon
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
