Partnered with a hospital in southeastern Virginia that has an opening for a Neurologist to provide locum coverage.
Opening Overview:
• Schedule: 7a-5p inpatient, 5p-7a tele
• Call Requirement: 2 nights per week by phone
• Patient Volume: 15 patients
• Support Staff: APPs
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, stroll a lively harborfront district, browse art galleries in a growing creative district, and visit a renowned botanical garden.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physicians/Surgeon Virginia state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physicians/Surgeon program
• One year of work experience as Physicians/Surgeon
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
