Work Schedule: 10 shifts per month
Free-standing emergency departments in Albuquerque, New Mexico, have openings for an Emergency Medicine physician to join their team.
Cover ER and urgent care cases and earn excellent benefits, including a competitive salary and generous time off.
About the Position:
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days and nights
• No call shifts
• 2 facility locations
• Annual Volumes: 62k and 90k
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive base salary
• Medical malpractice coverage

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physicians/Surgeon New Mexico state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physicians/Surgeon program
• One year of work experience as Physicians/Surgeon
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
