is partnering with a reputable hospital in north-central North Carolina with an exclusive opportunity for an Emergency Medicine physician to provide locum coverage.
About the Opening:
• Flexible Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts
• No call requirement
• Annual Volume: 36k patients
• Daily Census: 80 patients
• Mid-level support available
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified, ABEM
• Paid travel & lodging
When you aren't working, you can explore scenic trails along a historic canal, enjoy water activities on a nearby lake, and visit a local theater for live performances.

Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physicians/Surgeon North Carolina state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physicians/Surgeon program
• One year of work experience as Physicians/Surgeon
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
