CONTROLLER
Pittsfield, MA
Fusco Personnel is seeking a hands-on, strategic Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and cost control for a dynamic, project-driven manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with operations and executive leadership to provide clear financial insights that drive performance, protect margins, and support growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead all core accounting functions, including month-end close, reporting, and internal controls
- Own job costing, WIP reporting, revenue recognition, and project margin forecasting
- Oversee plant cost accounting, inventory controls, and production variance analysis
- Partner cross-functionally to identify risks, improve execution, and strengthen cash flow
- Develop scalable financial processes and lead a high-performing accounting team
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Strong background in manufacturing, construction, or engineered-to-order environments
- Expertise in cost accounting, project reporting, and ERP systems
- Proven ability to translate financial data into operational action
Work Environment:
On-site in a manufacturing facility (hybrid considered, ~3 days in-office), with regular collaboration on the production floor.

Salary: $140-$165k
