Primary Purpose
Inspect, repair, install, adjust, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations while minimizing production downtime.

Primary Purpose
Inspect, repair, install, adjust, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations while minimizing production downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance repairs.
- Inspect equipment for:
- Wear and damage
- Misalignment
- Lubrication issues
- Hydraulic system problems
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Repair, replace, install, and maintain:
- Pumps
- Cylinders
- Valves
- Regulators
- Bearings
- Shafts
- Mechanical drive systems
- Repair hydraulic leaks and replace damaged piping.
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems and pressure systems.
- Perform maintenance on cranes and mobile equipment.
- Set up and adjust equipment to meet production requirements.
- Operate maintenance tools and equipment, including drill presses, grinders, pipe-threading machines, power saws, and rigging equipment.
- Work independently or lead/support maintenance crews.
- Complete required maintenance documentation and reports.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Operate mobile equipment and E.O.T. (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes as required.
- Manage hazardous waste in accordance with company procedures.
- Mechanical troubleshooting
- Hydraulic systems maintenance and repair
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Pipefitting and pressure systems
- Rigging and equipment installation
- Bearing, shaft, and gearbox maintenance
- Blueprint and schematic interpretation
- Safety compliance and hazardous waste handling
- Crane and mobile equipment operation
- Heavy industrial/manufacturing setting
- Exposure to mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, lubricants, and maintenance activities
- Requires working with minimal supervision and responding to emergency breakdowns
