Fusco Personnel is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This position is responsible for managing project controls, contracts, financial forecasting, quality, scheduling, risk mitigation, and project administration while supporting successful project delivery. The Project Manager will collaborate with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal project staff to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of project safety plans while promoting a strong safety culture
- Manage project controls, procedures, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution
- Identify, track, and manage potential change orders while participating in project financial forecasting and cost control
- Develop and administer project-specific quality management plans aligned with contract requirements and oversee execution throughout the project lifecycle
- Create and manage project closeout plans, ensuring timely completion of all contractual closeout requirements
- Direct and supervise Project Engineers, Project Administrators, and other project staff while establishing operational priorities and supporting team development
- Assist in developing subcontracting strategies, preparing scopes of work, and supporting subcontractor buyout activities
- Administer contracts, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements while supporting risk management initiatives
- Coordinate insurance and bonding requirements and monitor subcontractor compliance with contractual obligations
- Support preconstruction efforts, including estimating, design coordination, constructability reviews, and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) development
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, monthly schedule updates, schedule analyses, and progress narratives
- Participate in constructability reviews and collaborate with project teams to proactively resolve design and coordination issues
- Build and maintain relationships within the local construction market to support business development and networking efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Approximately 4–7 years of experience managing commercial construction projects in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager capacity
- Demonstrated experience with project administration, contracts, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, and quality control
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project controls, subcontractor management, and risk mitigation strategies
- Experience supporting estimating, design coordination, constructability reviews, and preconstruction services is preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project documentation, scheduling, and financial management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-standard construction management software
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout all phases of project delivery
Salary: $94,900 – $131,560 (plus benefits and retirement plan)
