CONTROLLER

Fusco Personnel is partnering with a respected, mission-driven nonprofit organization to identify a Controller for a direct-hire opportunity. Reporting to the SVP of Operations, this leadership role will oversee the organization's accounting and financial operations while managing a team of finance professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys making a meaningful impact in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and cash flow.
• Lead month-end/year-end close, annual audits, and GAAP compliance.
• Prepare financial reports for executive leadership, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team while supporting organizational strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting experience with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting, GAAP, budgeting, audits, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with accounting and payroll systems.

Salary:  $120-160k
